NEW COUNCILLOR ELECTED
Lake County Council Mr D. R. Rowe, of Coronet Peak Station, has been elected unopposed, to fill the vacancy on the Lake County Council, caused by the resignation of Mr Leo Lee. At the monthly meeting of the council held on Thursday last the chairman, Mr D. H. Cockhurn, extended a welcome to Mr Rowe, who suitably replied.
