Mr J. McDonald paid a hurried visit to Dunedin during the week. * * * Mr J. Olsen was a visitor to the district during the week. * * # Mrs L. Williams is spending the week-end at Mataura. * * * Mrs F. J. Gavin is visiting Invercargill. * * Mr and Mrs J. Adams left on Friday for a holiday in the North Island. «: « * Mrs J. P. Lynch has left on a visit to Dunedin. * * * Mr and Mrs H. F. Gardiner, Omakau, are ethe guests of Mr and Mrs J. C. Coekhurn. * * * Mr and Mrs E. J. Buckham have returned from a holiday spent in New Plymouth. * * * The Misses Lindsay, Invercargill, are spending a few weeks in Queenstown. * * Mrs J. E. Home, accompanied by Miss (Bonnie) Home, left for the north on Monday morning.
Mrs F. D. Morrah and Mrs R. A. Douglas returned to Invercargill on Saturday after being in residence in Macalister’s cottage.
