FEDERATED FARMERS

The Federated Farmers held a meeting ou Saturday evening, May .‘lO, in the Council Chambers. Mr \V r . P. Saunders presided. The main business was to appoint delegates for the conference that is being held in Dunedin. Mr T. .Houston was appointed for the agricultural section; Mr M. Elliott, dairying; Mr C. WardcH, meat and wool; Mr W. P. McDonald, high country. Mr D. H. Cockburn is branch delegate at the conference. The main business of the dairying section is concerning the Government Commission which is to administer the industry.
