YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB
A meeting of the Young’ Farmers’ was held in the Council Chambers on Wednesday, June 4. In the absence of the president, Mr A. Reid, Mr R. R. Scott presided, Present were —Mr A. Avery (district president), Mr Freeman (district organising secretary), and Mr .1,111111 (Department of Agriculture). Mr*' Scott had much pleasure in introducing the guests. Mr Freeman gave an address, and also showed moving pictures of agriculture. Mr Avery spoke about Lincoln College memorial, and gave a resume, of the club’s activities throughout New Zealand. There were 12 members present.
