At the annual conference of the Otago Provincial Executive of the Federated Farmers of New Zealand, held in Dunedin last week, Mr D. H. Cockburn (Queenstown) was re-elected to the executive, and Mr W. P. McDonald (Queenstown), was elected section chairman for the high country.
At the annual meeting of the Otago Women’s Division of , the Federated Farmers of New Zealand, held in Dunedin last week, Mrs D. H. Cockburn (Queenstown), was elected a vice-pre-sident and member of the executive.

The Borough camping ground has had an exceptionally long and busy season, the caretaker, stated in an inter-
view that a continuous stream of
campers have been passing through since early in November, and that last week was the first occasion in which the ground had been entirely free of campers.
During the week the Public Library received an advanced hamper of books from the Country Library Service. The librarian anticipates the Country Library Service Van on the Kith, when a complete change of Country Library Service Books will take place.
