EUCHRE TOURNAMENT
St. Joseph’s Church Committee held its usual fortnightly euchre tournament in the “Ambassadors” on Wednesday evening, and was well patronised. a contingent of young farmers from the VVaimate district also being present. The prize-winners were —Women: hirst prize, Mrs 'l'. Donaldson; second, Mrs I>. D. Dougherty. Men: First prize. Mr E. H. Battln; second, Mr W, H. Nelson. At the conclusion of supper a dance was held.
