YOUNG FARMERS’ VISIT

A party of 20 young farmers from Wuimate district Young Farmers’ Clubs spent several days in Lake County last week, making their headquarters Queenstown, They visited .the head of the lake on Monday and were conducted over the Glenorchy side by the local branch of the Federated Farmers, per Mr T. E. Bryant. The young men also to Arrowtown and Crown Terrace and were shown round the farms by Mr W. H. Thompson, who gave them some 'valuable information concerning cultivation and seed-growing.
