V.M.C.A. v. HELENSVILLE
On Saturday last a visiting V.M.C.A. team registered the first win against the Helensville team this season. The visitors were a good all round combination, and had had the advantage of plenty of practice, sadly lacking in the local eleven. V.M.C.A. batted first, and their total was 139, Buisson (47) and Mabin (27) being top scorers. Helensville could only manage 90 in reply, Wallace (15) and Mason (13) topping the score.
