WEDDING BELLS
BOOTH—DOWLING
On November 10th the mar-! riage was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church, Helensville, of Mr Edwin A. Booth, youngest son of Mr and Mrs F. Booth, Paparata, and Dorothy Dowling, third daughter of Mr and Mrs James Dowling,Helensville, Rev. Houchen officiated. The bride, I who was given away by her father, wore a pretty bridal frock of shell pink crepe-do-chene, j veiled in Georgette and trimmed with silver. Her tulle veil was arranged ,nob-cap style, and she carried a shower bouquet of pink flowers with white streamers. Miss Anne Dowling acted as j bridesmaid, and wore a frock of heliotrope crepe-de-chene and Georgette and black tulle hat trimmed with heliotrope; her bouquet consisted of pink and heliotrope sweet peas with streamers to match. Mr - Harry j^jjiertCoJ Auckland, acted as best man. A reception was afterwards held at the " residence of the bride's parents, Kaipara Hotel, when about forty guests sat down to a sumptuous breakfast, the tables being beautifully decorated with pink and heliotrope sweet peas The happly couple left for Auckland, en route for Hamilton and Morrins.ville, and the Thames, their future home. The bride's travelling costume was gray, with this being w^orn a smart vieux rose and white hat, and black furs.
