OBITUARY

The death occurred at the Auckland Hospital on Tuesday afternoon of Mrs George Bennett, a well-known and respected Helensville resident. The deceased lady, who underwent an operation a week ago, was recoyering rapidly from the effects of the operation, but took a sudden turn for the worse, and ' passed away as stated, heart-failure being the cause of death. Deceased was twice married, her first husband being Mr W. Wangford, and ncr second the late Mr George Bennett, who predeceased his wife by three weeks. The late Mrs Bennett was the mother of a largo family, and six sons and. nine daughters are left to mourn her loss. The funeral took place at the Waikaraka cemetery today. "■■■'
