A MOVE MADE

At a representative meeting held on Tuesday evening when Town Board members and delegates from all sports bodies in the town were present, the following motion, moved by Mr R. Smith, and seconded by Mr N. Wallace, was unanimously adopted: — " That the Helensville Town Board be asked to take necessary steps to acquire : (a) The property of Mr D. Stewart adjoining the bowling and tennis grounds in Awaroa Road for cricket and football grounds. (b) Taking over of the bowling and tennis grounds and making provision for croquet lawns. (c) Taking over portion of Mr F. W. Strange's property for golf links. [A full report of this meeting will appear in our next issue.]
