The engagement is announced of Miss Ethel- Cuthbert, second daughter of Mr and Mrs R. W. Cuthbert, Terminus Hotel, Helensville, to Mr W. T. (Tas.) Morgan, eldest son of. Mr and Mrs W. F. Morgan, of 11, Parkfield Terrace, Newmarket.
Rev. W. Butterw«rth leaves Helensville this week to attend the Presbyterian General Assembly at Invercargill, which opens on Monday, November 17th.
