Rev. P. Bridge, who has been appointed Methodist Home Missioner for Helensville, arrives to take up his duties tnis week, and will be tendered a social at Woodhill to-morrow (Friday) evening.
Mr N. Wallace, manager of the Helensville branch of the Bank of New Zealand, is at present enjoying holiday, leave, and is spending six weeks at Narrow Feck beach.

The Te Aroha News states j—Mr W. E, Barnard, a former well-known local member of the legal profession, has de^ cided to commence business in Helensville. Mr Barnard practised in Te Aroha for about six years, and then served on the war front for upwards of four years. His father, .Mr C. L. Barnard, also intends settling at Helensville.
