GOVERNMENT PRICES OF WHEAT.
An Order iv Council gazetted on 7th April amended the regulations "of 25th February respecting the sale and purchase of wheat as regards the several months in which the stated prices will be paid by the Government. These now stand as follows: In th c South Island elsewhere than in Nelson and Marlborough—January, February, March, and April, (is 6d ; May, 63 6 1/ id ; June, 6s 7d ; July, Gs 7j.-£d ; August and after, 6s 8h per bushel. In the North Island, and Nelson and Mavlbo-o it?h, the same schedule applies wi j m addition of 4d per bushel in -ei< ■_•'. ■
