THE KAIPARA RETURNED SOLDIERS' ASS'N.

In connection with Anzac Day and the Memorial Service, all returned soldiers assembled at Graham's corner under command of Sergt.-Major Drinnan on Friday afternoon, thence forming part of the procession to the service.; Other unit* taking part were the Territoriale, Rifle Club, and Cadets. In the evening a re-union was held' fa the Star Theatre; a resolution being carried that the Government be asked to proclaim Anzac Day in future as a statutory holiday. The re-union was a great success, and about 90 attended. ' The usual fortnightly social was held on Monday evening last.^at which opportunity was taken to farewell Miss Riramer.
