THANKS Mrs M. Millward fyishes to sincerely thank all kind friends for, telegrams, condolence cards, wreaths, "etc., during her late sad bereavement. \
PASSED AWAY. It ie with deep regret that we have to record the death of one of our moat popular citizens, Mr William Percy Millward, at the age of 32 years, after a lingering illness. The late Mr Millward started his career in Helensville in the fishing industry, and was very successful, till his health broke down. He then (upon the advice of his physician) took up a more congenial employment, and became manager of the Hot Springs Motor service, and his haalth recouped wonderfully. About nine months ago his health again broke down, and he was granted 12 months' leave of absence. He never regained his former strength, and on Sunday evening he passed away1.
Deceased leaves a wife, one child, three sisters, and one brother to mourn their loss.
The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Helensville cemetery, the Rev. W. Butter worth officiating. A number of Foresters were prosent, deceased being a member of that Lodge, and their service was read by Mr C. Sandin,
