HELENSVILLE SCHOOL.

COMMITTEE MEETING,

THE usual monthly meeting of the Helensville School Committee was held on Tuesday, 16th inst. There were present: Messrs C. Thomson (Chairman, W. W. L. Bradly, L. L. Bailey, R. Smith, H. Thompson, A. Hammond, C. West, W. F. Coutts, and F. R. Eames (Secretary). Minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. Swimming Bath. —It was reported that the levels had been taken, and that this matter was now in a fair way to be completed before the coming season. The Committee has now about £70 in hand for this work, and this will be subsidised by the Education Board £ for £. A large amount of material has also been given, and special thanks were due to Mr W. W. L. Bradly for organising a working bee and getting the material together. When completed this will be one most . up-to-date school swiwming baths in the Auckland district, and parents and others should interest them" selves in securing for the children this acquisition to their school. Other routine business was proceeded with, and thanks to the Chairman closed the meeting.
