ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE STAR THEATRE PICTURES —Saturday— His father's Son "—A big play and two big stars will be seen in it —Lionel Barry more and Irene Howley. It is a rattling good story well put together, with quaint touches of humour, and many brilliant dramatic stations. Mr Barrymore's rare ability to fittingly combine humour and pathos makes the part of J. Dabney Barron a pronounced success. Young Barron an irresponsible youth, spends his ridiculously Jarge income on poker and automobiles. His father, Adam Barron, becomes disgusted at his son's apparent worthlessness, discontinues the young man's incrme, and bets six thousand dollars that he cannot hold a sixty dollar a month job for thirty days. The boy takes him up, and with his valet starts off in his racing auotmobile to look for work. What follows forms one of the most interesting and startling stories ever screened.
