As the result of a deputation of fishermen to the Hon. G. W. Russell recently, with regard to supplies and soaring prices of benzine, the Prime Minister states that 47,441 cases of oils for Auckland Province have just arrived. ' The Oil Company, Mr Massey.states, has advised the Auckland manager to supply sufficient slocks to keep all fishermen .and 'owners of dairying plants supplied at the wholesale prices to merchants ruling o.\ Saturday at Auckland, namely, petrol 23s Sd per .case ; distillate 193 2d.
