The Presbyterian Church Conr mitee wish to thank you for publishing a full report of their picnic and sports, and state that they have received the official receipt for the £10 sent to the V.M.C.A. Trench Comfort Fund. Following is an extract from a letter received by Mr S. H. C. Jones (secretary Kaukapakapa Presbyterian Church Committee) from Mr P. J. L. Kenny, general secretary V.M.C.A.—" Will you kindly convey to your Committee the best thanks of the Association for their thoughtfulness in remembering our work." The Rev. R. L. Walker, of St. James', Auckland, will conduct--the usual afternoon service at the Kaukapakapa Presbyterian Church on Sunday, March 3rd, at 3 p.m. On the following Tuesday (March 5) he will give a lantern lecture in the Hall, entitled " A Parson on Holiday," illustrated with views of places visited in a pre-war tour. Harvest Festival services will be held in the Kaukapakapa Presbyterian Church on Sunday, March 24th, at 3 p.m and 7.45 p.m. The Rev. Morgan Richards of Howick, will preach at . both services. All fruit, produce, etc., given for decorating the Chuich will be consigned to F. R. Jeffries and Sister Esther of Auckland, for distribution to the poor and needy, the Church Committee reserving the right to which they will convey same if insufficient for both.
