A very pleasant function eventuated in the Star Theatre, on Thursday evening ■ last, the occasion being a welcome homeJ to Sergt. Scott, Pts. EettSK er, Constable and Murphy^ The evening was spent in dancing, ifiis Cullens officiat ing at the piano. .-Staff Sergt.-Major Johnson acted as spokesman, and made a nice little speech .in reference to the departing boys, at the same time presenting them with tie customary pair of socks and shaving outfits, which donated by the Woman's Patriotic * League. Light refreshments were served -£S^S^_J:nd highly appreciated by ail.
