"OUR DAY" APPEAL.

On Friday last, " Our Day," an appeal was "made throughout New Zealand for funds for the Red Cross, and met with universal support. The sum of £15 6s 7d was collected in Helensville township (for the sale of badges), by Mesdames Hunt, Simmonds, Vercoe, and Misses Wilson and White, assisted by the school children. In addition to this the Helensville Women's Patriotic League forwarded £10 from their own funds.
