ANNUAL MEETING. * The annual meeting of -th^^pJPfetf was held in the Lyric ThedfceT^ Helensville, on Thursday evening last, September 6th. There was a good muster of members considering the bad state of the t weather. ■*■ . C The annual statement add balance sheet were read and, confirmed. The election of officers for the ensuing season (1917-18) resulted as follows : — isPatron —D. Stewart, Esq. AsPresident —H. Aitkenhead, Esq. Vice-Presidents —Hon. A. M. Myers, Messrs A. J. Hill, A. Bishop, E. T. Field, J. Stewart, H. White, G. W. Sim, and C. J. Dowling. Secretary and Treasurer —Mr R. J. Walters. Green Snperintendent—Mr A. Nuttall. Committee —Messrs A. Bishop, A. Hammond, E. T. Field, W. • Gullens, H. W. Stringer, W. Ellett, R. Smith, M. Hafford, J. Constable, T. Dwerryhouse, A; J. Hill, and T. Young. Auditor—Mr H. W. Stringer (re-elected). Match Committee—Messrs H. Aitkenhead, R. Smith, and A. Hammond. Delegate to Dominion Bowling • Association —Mr E. T. Field. Votes of thanks were passed to all donors of trophies. A unanimous vote of thanks was passed to the late President. Mr A. J. Hill. A vote was also passed thanking Mr R. Smith for his attention to the green during the absence of the Green Superintendent. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the chair. (
