SCOUT NEWS.

Last Saturday afternoon about fifteen members of the Helensville Boy Scouts assembled for parade at 2.30 p.m., in front of Mr Sandin's shop. After the roll was called they marched out to the Springs, where they had a swim. The boys enjoyed themselves immensely, and the march back was accomplished in the best of spirits, the boys singing merrily. Only one incident marred the pleasure of the afternoon, and that was when returning to the township a section of the Cadets tried .to interfere by calling out, "halt, form fours," etc., but the Scouts, however, took no notice At 7.45 p.m., the boys again assembled, and marched from Screaton's Store to the Pictures, under control of their Scoutmaster, and their behaviour was very creditable.
