MEMORIAL SERVICE.

The usual monthly memorial service was held in the Star Theatre, Helensville, on Sunday afternoon last. The Rev. A. V. Venables conducted the service and gave a splendid address, taking for his text: " Surely the Lord is in this place and I know it not." There about 100 persons present, and the sum of £2 was collected, which amount goes to assist a very worthy cause—the Helensville Women's Patriotic League.
