Friday—" Sins of the Mothers," a great production by the Vitagraph Co. featuring the two popular artists, Anita Stewart and Earle Williams. Her mother (who secretly runs a gambling resort), gives her consent, provided the girl still cares for that life after spending a year of the social .life. The result is portrayed in a most vivid and realistic manner. The supports include "The Bathhouse Blunder," a big Keystone comedy.

Saturday—Something special. W. H. Shepherd's gorgeous entertainment in nature's own colours—Kinemacolour— the world's wonder of cinematography. " John Bull's Empire," including New Zealand's wonderland, the Government official pictures shown under their auspices, making an exceptionally fine programme. Tuesday—" Chimmie Fadden." This refreshingly novel Lasky comedy shows bow a young lady interested in slum work gives one of her queer characters of the slum region a position as her footman. The picture, in some splendidly carried out dramatic scenes, shows how this eccentric but loyal ex-larrikin repays his benefactress The acting is both quaint and clever, and some of the scenes decidedly humorous.
