PATRIOTIC CONCERT.
The public of Helensville were fortunate enough to have a beautifully fine evening on Monday last, thus enabling them to attend the splendid concert, in aid of the Y. M. C. A. Trench Comforts Funds, promoted by Mrs McGarvey. Needless to say, the new Lyric Theatre was filled with an appreciative audi ence, who took a keen interest in the dancing, acting and singing of the younger folk. There was also some first-class local and risiting talent, including Miss Cook, an elocutionist, from Sydney.
