THE PAPER SHORTAGE.
The Printer knelt before his chief, The-Printer heaved a sigh. The Printer's head was bowed with grief, A tear stood in his eye. " I bring," he sobbed, " a tale of woe, But nerve yourself, I pray, Our stock of paper is so low We cannot print to-day." Up sprang the chief with fearful frown, Cried he, " It MUST be done. Get hence, thon sorry inkstained clown— We go to press at one !"
