TREES FOR FARMERS.

With a view to encouraging farmers to plant trees for shelter, forest plantations, post timber, firewood, and other purposes on their farms, the Forestry Branch of the Land Department is now prepared to supply suitable trees for farmers who wish to improve their farms in the manner referred to. In the North Island applications for trees should be made to the Superintending Nurseryman at Whakarewarewa, who will supply pricelists and other particulars.
