A correspondent (signing himself "Member ") advis«s that a slight mistake occurred in our report of the Sports Gala on Easter Monday, with .regard to the Helensville Band. He says the misunderstanding that was reported, was through one member who objected to pay 1/- admission to the ground, as well as give his services free. As everybody had to pay, without exception, it showed a great patriotic (?) feeling on this man's part. Unfortunately, as the Band could not perform without this member's assistance, it put the remaining members in a false position, and the public were consequently disappointed.
