ARSENICAL SPRAY FOR BLACKBERRY
The following formula and method of preparing arsenic solution for the destruction of blackberry by spraying is recommended by the Government Biologist ;—Take white arsenic, lib ; washing soda, 21b ; and water, 1 gallon. Dissolve the soda in the water by boiling 15 to 20 minutes ; add the arsenic and boil again until a qlear solution is Obtained. IJse 1 part of this solution to 20 parts of water, This mixture is destructive to all vegetable life with which it cam.es in contact, and may be effectively used for other purposes, such as killing weeds and grass on garden paths,
