SHOOTING ACCIDENT.

On Monday afternoon last, while Mr D. Ross was out rabbit shooting on the hills at the back of the' township, the gun he was carrying accidently went off discharging the contents through his leff foot. He was conveyed to the Helensville Private Hospital, where he is being attended to by Dr Meinhojd. We believe Mr Ross is progressing favourably, and trust he will sqqn he about again.
