IT FELL THROUGH.

A VISIT to Helensvilie was expected by Messrs V. H. Reed and Allan 7 Bell, on Monday last; they were to address' a public meeting in the Star Theatre, on the proposed Parliamentary, tour-in January next. Mr Reed did not put in an appearance, and the latter gentleman, after waiting outside the Hall till about 8.30 p.m., with no siga of the public turning out, retired for. the evening— about seven or eight persons were in attendance. As the meeting was not advertised, we can safely put the lapse down to the want of printer's ink.
