WOMEN'S PATRIOTIC LEAGUE.

A MOST attractive entertainment is being arranged for Thursday, November 16, in the Star Theatre, Helensville. Mrs J. Carter is arranging a short musical programme, in which Mr H. Baxter, a violinist of exceptional ability, will play, and Miss Rimmer will sing. Several pretty dances by children arrayed in gorgeous costumes, are being arranged by Miss Ganley, and a comedy in minature entitled "The Rest Cure," under the ■tage management of Mr Hill, will be prosented. The personages are: Mesdames Carter and Meinhold, Misses Ganley and Wilson, and Mr Rose.
