A social was held in the Hall on October 9th, to bid farewell to Private J. Dnigau, who is leaving for the front. Owing1 to the boisterous weather prevailing, and the bad roads the attendance was not very large. The evening was spent in dancing, the music being supplied by several, and all had a very enjoyable time. About eleven o'clock bupper was handed round, al't«r which dancing was resumed until 1 a.m. During the evening Mr Duigan was prosented with a wristlet watch.
