The poultry market is still strong and values are high. Young ducks and choice heavy hens are selling exceedingly well, Pigs are in strong demand. Butter, eggs and pumpkins are much firmer. We quote: POULTRY 560 penned. Hens choice heavy 4s 3d to 4s lOd, good 4s to 4s 3d, light 3s 6d to 3s 9d, small 3s to 3s 3d. A line of choice white leghorn hens realised 3s 8d to 4s 3d Roosters prime up to 5s 7d, good 4s 3d to ss, smaller 3s to 3s lOd, ducks young 3s 3d to 4s 9d, old ducks 3s to 3s 9d, turkey gobblers 8s to 12s 6d. hens 4s 6d to 6s 6d, geese 5s to Bs, ducklings Is to Is. sd, chickens 6d to Is 3d. Pigs—lß/ to £1 11s 6d.
