OBITUARY

DEATH OF MRS R. LE GRIGE,

On Saturday last, 2nd inst., the sad news arrived in Helensville of the death of Mary, wife of Mr R. Le Grice which took place at the Aucidand Hospital on that date. Deceased was bora in this township 26 years ago, and was highly respected by all who knew her. (She leaves behind her to mourn their loss, a husband and two young children, also her mother (Mrs John Hunter), and five sisters and four brothers, she being the fifth daughter out of six. Deceased died from.blood-poisoning, and -was ill but a few days before going from Mrs Corleison'3 .home here, to Auckland Hospital, accompanied by her brother, Mr James Hunter.

The funeral took place at the Helensville cemetery on Monday last, after .the arrival of the mid-day train from Auckland. The cortege was a very large and representative one, as deceased was so well-known in the town. The service was conducted bj the Rev. L. J. Hodson, Presbyterian Minister. The wreaths, telegrams, and cards of condolence were v.cry numerous.
