PRODUCE MARKET
Mr. J. Jones, Auctioneer, Victoria and Lome Streets, Auckland, reports •'—
The market this week has been exceptionally brisk, and a large volume of business has been done. The poultry market is firm, and for choice young birds high rates have been obtained. Kumaras are in very heavy supply and price has dropped. Potatoes, swedes, and lemons are much firmer. Eggs are easier. The grain market shows no
change.
