Messrs A. Buckland and Sons' report :— —At Helensville — On Monday last, 4th inst., there was a large yarding of mixed cattle, and go od prices were realised. A choice line of heifers close to profit realised from £7 10s to £10 15s. Others, from £5 to £10. Beef was in demand. Small cows, from £8 to £9 10s; 2-year steers, £8 10s to £9 10s; yearling steers, £3 to £5; calves, £2 10s; empty heifers, £5 to £6 10s ; yearling heifers, £3 to £4 15s ; dry cows, £1 Bs. Lambs, £1 3s. Pigs, small, 15s each, There were several bulls yarded,, and they realised from £5 to £10, according to quality.
