PRESENT
Comrs. E. T. Field (chairman), T. Elliott, J. A. Wilson, A. Becroft, J. F. Lambert, and the secretary (Mr H.W. Stringer). MINUTES Minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. CORRESPONDENCE Outward correspondence was approved. GENERAL A petition was received from a number of residents of Parakai asking for the Board's assistance in procuring drainage for their district. It was decided on the motion of the Chairman, seconded by Com Becroft, to ask the petitioners to send a i 'deputation to meet a committee from the Board on Thursday, 17th inst, to discuss the matter. The Chairman and ■ Corns Becroft and Elliott were appointed to represent the Board. FINANCE Debit balance, £274 8s 6d. Accounts passed for payment, £28 14s 9d.
