HELENSVILLE A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

GENERAL COMMITTEE.

A general meeting of the above was hold in the Agricultural Hall on August 14th last, after the business of the annual meeting had been dealt with. The same members were present, and Mr Aitkenhead occupied the chair.

After the minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, Mr Jas. McLeod stated that as there were about twenty seats in the hall belonging to him, he would make the Association a presentation of same. The Committee thanked Mr McLeod for his kind offer. This brought a number of others to light, who, on the suggestion of the Chairman, offered to donate a seat each.

The election of the Executive and Grounds Committees was then dealt with, and several new members' were elected. - •
