PRESENT Comrs. E. T. Field (chairman), T. Elliott, J. A. Wilson, A. Becroft, J. F. Lambert, and the clerk (Mr H. W. Stringer). MINUTES Minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. CORRESPONDENCE Outward correspondence was confirmed. GENERAL. On the motion of Com. Lambert, seconded by Coin Wilson, it was decided to put in a concrete channel along the front of the Agricultural Society's Hall. ' Mr F. Tucker's application foiMA extension of closing time forf-li^P bil'iard saloon frotr 10 p.m to 11 p.m, was refused. . It was decided on the motion of Com Wilson, seconded by the Chairman, to put tar and fine scoria on the path at corner of Garfield Street and Commercial Road. The Chairman proposed and Com Ldmbert seconded—That a post and rail fence be placed on outside of Pipitiwai culvert.—Carried. FINANCE Dr. bal. at Bank, £371 2a 2d. Accounts passed for payment. £195 15 8 2d.
