BESIDES being a success from a musical point of view, the last concert brought a nett profit of £8 Is to the Band." This amount will be spent in improvements for the Band and for the production of better results. The Band has been fortunate in obtaining the services of Mr Charles Berryman, who is an experinced bandmaster and a talented player, and in whose favour Mr Carter has retired. Under Mr Berryyman's conductorship, «th© people of Helensville may look forward to many a musical treat.
