GOLF NOTES.
HELENSVILLE GOLF CLUB
ON Saturday, July 8, a competition for ladies will be held, for a club presented by Mr G. E. Murphy. Thirteen holes, stroke competition ; members to play off adjusted handicap ; an entrance fee of 6d wiil be charged.
A gentlemen's competition is to be held, closing on 24th July, for a club presented by Mr P. C. Rose. 18 holes, medal play; members to play off adjusted handicaps; the player returning the best two cards of three to be the winner ; an entrance fee of Is will be charged.
