The " Freedom Advertiser " (Dakota) has a forcible way of telling subscribers to pay up arrears: "It is reported that one of Harvey's fastidious newlymarried ladies kneads bread with her gloves on. The incident may be peculiar but there are others. The editor of this paper needs bread with his. shoes on. He needs bread with his pants on, and unless some of the delinquent subscribers to this ' Old Rag of Freedom " pay up before long, he will, need bread without a darned thing on, and North Dakota is no Garden of Eden in the winter time."
Good programmes are always to be depended upon at the Star Theatre, and those for the current week are right up to the usual high standard. Friday's chiet attraction is a splendid Biograph drama " The Country Parson" (from the famous novel by Balzac); the story is at all times interesting and exciting, holding the attention throughout. Saturday's programme will include a most successful drama, "The Greater Strength," a beautiful story of love and a noble resolve, also " Victorine," a stirring drama, starring talented Miss Dorothy Gish; and a film of special importance—" Anzac Day in London," together with humorous and other entertaining items. For Wednesday the management announce that fine, soul-gripping drama, "The Outcast," (featuring Mac Marsh and Robert Harron) —a stirring page from life, in which the evil passions of men and a great redeeming love are blended, making a story ot extreme fascination.
