HOPE ON, HOPE EVER.
JUST as our newspaper stocks were becoming depleted, and the ECHO was thinking seriously of either " shutting-up shop" till the war is over, or else reducing the size of the sheet to one-half, a friendly craftsman has dropped as if from the sky per aeroplane, a large bale of paper, which should help carry us on till the end of the year. But, of course, we are not exactly out of the wood while the war lasts, nor for months afterwards.
