DEFENCE NOTES.
A team from the Kaipara Rifle Club visited Henderson on Saturday, 3rd inst., to fire a match against the Henderson Club. The Kaiparas were defeated in the match, but in the Active Service Competition they were easy winners. *
Oil Saturday, 10th inst., the first shoot for Gladstone bag, presented by Mr D. Stewart, will be fired.
