A NOVEL WAY OF MAKING MONEY.
WIDESPEEAD interest has been taken in a series of articles now running in " Everylady's Journal," in which readers are advised in various ways of making money. Sometimes a hobby, from which pocket money may be made, is suggested, 1 and sometimes a livelihood is outlined, In this way practical instruction has been given in such occupations as spinning and weaving., leathertooling, and various fqrms pf fancywork, herb-rrajsing, and sundry branches of agriculture and horticulture. This month (May) there is a change, in the shape of a very brightly written interview, in which Miss Annie Jones, a clever young West Australian, tells how she raised over £50 by undertaking a story-telling tour through the cities and the hackfylocks qf the western State. The money was all given to the Patriotic I Fund, and in securing it Miss Jqnes had some strange experiences that make Gapital reading.
