SHIPPING.

The barque Manurewa was towed by the s s. Aotea, on Sunday, 14th ult., to Allen's mill, Dargaville, where she loaded a part cargo of timber, thence being towed to Allen's mill, Hoanga, to complete her loading of timber for Sydney. It is expected she will sail shortly.

Capt. Menzies, of the s.s. Ruawai, is at present in Rawene, Hokianga, having been called away to see his father, who is lying in the hospital there, seriously ill with kidney complications. A second operation was to take place on Tuesday. We understand if all goes well Capt. Menzies will return to take up his duties as master of the s.s Ruawai, on Monday next. In the meantime Capt. Ross, of the s.s. Tuirangi is in charge of the s.s. Ruawai, Capt. Rapana taking Capt. Ross' place on the Tuirangi.
