GOLF NOTES.

HELENSVILLE GOLF CLUB

The first competition of this season ended on May 15th. The following are the results: —

On June 3rd next (King's Birthday), about 15 players and a few of their friends from, the Dargaville Golf Club intend visiting the local Club, and playing a series of matches on Saturday. Local members should get in some practice, as Dargaville are sending down their best, and rumour hath it that they are "some" players up the Wairoa. r Ihe visitors are expected to arrive on Friday night, and depart about 2 p.m. on Sunday. Should the weather prove fine, an enjoyable week-end should result.
